Recreating Flappy Bird:
Despite the simplicity of Flappy Bird, recreating it was both challenging and rewarding. Having no experience with Unity, I figured recreating already existing games was the first step in learning the ins and outs of the Unity game engine. Throughout the building of this mini project, I learned about the various types of GameObject components, creating scripts in C#, creating prefabricated GameObjects, and animating my 2D characters.

Project 2 | April 12 - TBD
2D Top-Down Survival Game:
I’ve always been interested in 2D games and wanted to try creating a 2D Top-Down survival game. I am drawing inspiration from Dead Ops Arcade and Survivor.io. I haven’t had much time to work on this project with the end of the semester closing in, but I will continue to work on this project over the summer and hope to complete it by mid-June.
